Melrose Apricot Kernel Oil is pressed from the seeds (kernel) of apricots. Apricot Kernel Oil is widely used topically for its ability to deeply penetrate the skin and is light in texture making for an ideal facial oil. It can also be used as a carrier oil and for massage.
Ideally used as a topical oil however can also be used in the kitchen for finishing and salads.
Smoke point - high. Can be heated to approximately 250°C.
It has a slight aroma and has a mild nutty taste.
