Global Soap Soap Nuts 500g
Soap Nuts are Nature’s laundry solution.
Soap Nuts are a biodegradable, hypoallergenic, economical and sustainable product that naturally washes your clothes. The nuts are native to Nepal and India and are the fruit of the ‘Sapindus Mukorossi’ tree. The dried shell is full of a natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal soap called Saponin – which is nature’s own detergent. When the fruit ripen and fall from the tree, local families harvest and deseed them. The shell off the fruit is then dried in the sun, using absolutely no chemical or manufacturing processes.
Suitable for front loaders and top loader washing machines, for any temperature and machine type.
HOW TO USE
For a warm wash use about 5 nuts. Add a few extra for a cold wash, or if your water is very hard. Use a few less for a hot wash. Use about 3-5 times before the shells lose their saponin (shells become soft and lose their sheen and stickiness).
The nuts need to be used in the little organic cotton bag provided.
You can also add a few drops of your favourite Essential Oil to your wash bag.
Return your used shells to the earth by simply tossing them into your compost bin!
