Brown Lentils Organic 500g
A vegetarian favourite, this nourishing wholefood provides high levels of protein and dietary fibre, while being naturally low in fat and sugar. Brown lentils readily absorb the flavours of surrounding ingredients they are cooked with, making them versatile in a large range of sweet and savoury recipes.
They’re great for hot and cold dishes, specifically big hearty hotpots, soups, stews and even light summery salads as they retain their shape after cooking.
HOW TO
Rinse. Add 1 cup of lentils to 4 cups boiling water. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
